Tejinder Pal Singh Aman Interacts with Youth Delegation from Kathua; Slams BJP for Betraying Aspirations of Young Generation

Jammu, June 20: Tejinder Pal Singh Aman, Provincial President of JKNC Youth Wing, met with a delegation of youth from Kathua District who expressed deep concern over the disillusionment prevailing among the younger population under the previous BJP-led administration in Jammu and Kashmir.

During the interaction, the delegation highlighted how the youth have suffered repeated setbacks under the BJP regime—particularly due to rampant recruitment scams, delays in job notifications, and a complete lack of transparency in the hiring process. They stated that the hopes and dreams of thousands of educated youth were crushed due to such systemic failures and misgovernance.

Tejinder Pal Singh assured the delegation that the Omar Abdullah-led government in the Union Territory is committed to reversing this damage and restoring the confidence of the youth. “The National Conference has always stood by the aspirations of young people. Our present government under Omar Sahib is actively working to ensure transparency, employment generation, and social justice,” he said.

The delegation also praised the NC-led government for its recent pro-people initiatives such as free travel for women in public transport, free electricity units for Antyodaya (AAY) families, and enhanced financial assistance under the marriage assistance scheme for girls. They said these steps reflect the government’s sensitivity towards the welfare of vulnerable sections, including youth and women.

Tejinder Pal Singh reiterated that the NC Youth Wing will continue to serve as a strong bridge between the youth and the administration, ensuring their voices are heard and their issues addressed with urgency and compassion.

Among those were present included :- Nitish Gowsami Provincial Vice President YNC, Anoop Gupta District President Kathua Rural, Zamir Quershi, Mudit Seth, Sahil Chib, Mohd Latif, Avtar Singh, Ashraf Baniya, Mushtaq Ahmad, Sikandar, Sadiq, Ravi kumar and others.
