Take One hosts 1st edition of ‘Open Mic Hub’ in Jammu; 15 performers showcase talent

JAMMU, 18 February 2024: Take One hosted the first edition of ‘Open Mic Hub’ at its studios in Channi Himmat, Jammu on Sunday. 15 participants took the stage to showcase a wide variety of talent including poetry, rap, mimicry, acting, singing, and tabla playing.

Those who performed include — Yogeshwar Singh (poet), Sushant Singh Charak (singer), Siloni Sharma (singer), Arti Bhagat (actor), Sidhant Panotra (singer), Rashi (singer), Kanha (rapper), Malvika Kalra ( storyteller), Rageesh Sharma (singer), Sahaj Sabharwal (poet & writer), Param Sagar (actor), Sukhleen Kour (singer), Vijay Bhaskaran (writer), Ishveen Kour (singer) and Rajveer Singh (Tabla player).

The spectacular performances of the artists mesmerized the audience and they appreciated the artists and their talents. The audience also hailed the initiative by Take One adding that it will help artists to explore their talent and showcase it in a public setting.

The first edition of ‘Open Mic Hub’ was sponsored by Amul, Rayat-Bahra University, Dewan Devi Playway and Higher Secondary School, Daksh Institute and Walker’s Shoes.

All participants were felicitated with gift hampers presented by Take One Operations Coordinator Capt Subash Chander.

‘Open Mic Hub’ is an open-to-public talent showcase initiative by Take One to provide a stage to upto 15 talented performers every month and propel their talent onto a national and international level via its vast digital reach. The ‘Open Mic Hub’ performances will be broadcast across Take One Television, Take One Digital Network website and Take One’s latest social media vertical ‘Take One Originals’.

The second edition of ‘Open Mic Hub’ will be held on 17th March 2024 at the Take One Studios at Channi Himmat in Jammu. The opening of registrations was announced during the event with several audience members registering to perform on the spot.
