SVEEP voter awareness held at Markha and Skyu
Leh, May9, 2024: The Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program was conducted on May 9 in Markha and Skyu which is one of the far-flung regions of Leh district.
District Icon, Stanzin Dorjai Gya and District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Tajamul Ara led the initiative, emphasizing the important role of participation in the upcoming General Elections.
The local communities participated in the event.
District Icon SVEEP Stanzin Dorjai Gya highlighted the significance of exercising one’s democratic right and the impact it holds in shaping the future of the nation.
District Nodal Officer SVEEP, provided valuable insights into the electoral process. She briefed about the voting procedures, electoral responsibilities, and the role of citizens in strengthening democracy.
