Sudha Murthy Sings & Dances with Shreya Ghoshal on ‘Barso Re’ During 40th Anniversary Celebration Of Infosys in Bengaluru

Sudha Murthy, who is the chairperson of Infosys Foundation, grooved joyously to Shreya Ghoshal singing ‘Barso Re’ at the 40th anniversary celebration of Infosys in Bangalore. She showed childlike zeal and enthusiasm while dancing and humming to the tune singer Shreya Ghoshal in an impromptu gig at an event of IT giant Infosys. While she was dancing, other women were clapping and cheering her up.

Padma Shri award holder Sudha Murthy is the wife of N R Narayana Murthy and is an educator, author, and philanthropist. Together, they started Infosys on 2 July 1981 in Pune.

During the celebration of its 40th Anniversary, held at company headquarters at Electronic City, Bengaluru, famous singer Shreya Ghoshal sang ‘Barso Refrom the 2007 movie ‘Guru’ in an impromptu gig. Murty could not stop herself from grooving over the melodious voice. Many people took out their phones to record  the video and shared it on social media.

A journalist named Chandra R. Srikanth took to her Twitter handle to share the video of the celebration. Netizens were excited to see the video and commented, “A child, a mother, a grandmother, a philanthropist, a superhuman”, commented one followed by a heart emoji. “This is a delight to watch”, commented another.

Shreya Ghoshal is one of the most established playback singer in Indian Cinema. She has recorded songs for films and albums in various Indian languages and has established herself as a leading playback singer of Indian cinema.
