Successful completion of 3-month Tally & Excel Skill Development Course in Kishtwar by DECC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, January 23: The 3-month skill development course in Tally & Excel organized by District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), Kishtwar concluded today with a grand valedictory ceremony, held at TRC Kishtwar. As many as 30 candidates have benefited by gaining crucial skills during the training course.

The chief guest for the event, Dr. Khalid Hussain Malik, Joint Director Employment, Jammu addressed the gathering and highlighted the vast employability scope of the Tally & Excel course. He urged the candidates to actively participate in upcoming job fairs, emphasizing the importance of networking and showcasing their newly acquired skills to potential employers.

The AD Employment Shafqat Ali Keen highlighted the significance of the training program, and encouraged the candidates to actively participate in counseling sessions, job fairs, and the AVSAR Scheme.

Dr. Vinod Kumar, District Nodal Officer (DNO) of JKEDI, Kishtwar provided insights into the details of the skill development course. He also elaborated on the future prospects that the skill development course offers in Tally & Excel to the candidates in terms of employability and entrepreneurship.

Emphasizing the importance of staying abreast of industry trends, he provided guidance on how the newly acquired skills align with the evolving needs of the job market, fostering a sense of preparedness among the participants.

Additionally, Vinod Shant, Employment Officer  shared valuable information about the employment landscape and stressed the importance of candidates participating in counseling sessions and various Mission Youth Schemes viz SEI, AVSAR. He shared insights into the employment landscape, highlighting the schemes as avenues for further opportunities and support for individuals actively seeking employment.

The valedictory ceremony concluded on a positive note, with candidates expressing gratitude for the valuable skills acquired during the 3-month Tally & Excel course.
