‘Studio Oasis-Creativity Blooms Here’ painting exhibition ends at K L Saigal Hall

JAMMU, JANYARY 31: ‘Studio Oasis-Creativity Blooms Here’– the two-day painting exhibition hosted by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) in collaboration with APS Domana concluded today with vibrant valedictory ceremony and workshop. The event was organized at the Academy’s K L Saigal Hall. The initiative provided a platform to the promising young artists to hone their skills and express their artistic vision.

The event witnessed the gracious presence of Bharat Singh Manhas Secretary JKAAC has Special Guest and Principal APS Damana, Mrs Pushpinder Kaur.

The participants were felicitated with Certificates of Appreciation for their commendable work by the Special Guest Bharat Singh Manhas Secretary JKAACL on the culmination day of the exhibition. He motivated the amateur artisans to always be optimistic, focused and avail the opportunities given in NEP 2020.

 The students along with their escort teachers from the schools under Cluster I, Tiger Div and CBSE HUBS OF LEARNING attended the event as audience. Besides, a group of 200 students from the host school also visited the exhibition. The two-day event showcased artistic work of almost 40 students from classes IX to XII. The work of all these budding artists was displayed on Day I whereas the students presented their artistic skills by drawing and painting various sketches on the spot.

Brig Vivek Puri, SM Chairman APS Damana appreciated the creative approach adopted by the school to enhance and exhibit the skills of the students.  He was profoundly impressed by the exceptional talent displayed by the students in the Painting Exhibition.  

Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Domana commended the students for their outstanding work done. The creativity and depth of expression showcased by the students in this exhibition was truly appreciable. The event served as a valuable steppingstone for the aspiring artists. It provided them with an opportunity to learn from established figures, gain exposure and receive constructive feedback on their work. All the participants were given light refreshment by JKAACL. The programme culminated with Vote of Thanks followed by National Anthem.
