Sat Sharma asks party cadre in Bishnah to support shelling victims, calls for emergency preparedness

Bishnah, 28 May 2025: J&K BJP President Sat Sharma accompanied by MLA Bishnah Rajeev Bhagat, BJP District President (Jammu Border) Rinku Choudhary chaired an organizational meeting at the BJP Party Office in Bishnah.

The meeting was attended by Jammu Border District Team, Mandal Presidents, and various prominent local leaders and activists.

While addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma emphasized the critical role of BJP leaders in bridging the gap between the party and the people. He urged the cadre to remain deeply connected with local communities and to be proactive in addressing their grievances. He asked the senior leaders of the party to mobilize the party cadre to ensure effective implementation of the upcoming party programmes at the ground level.

“Party workers must serve not only as representatives of the BJP but also as true friends of the people,” said Sharma. He specifically instructed local leaders and activists to maintain close contact with residents of Pakistan shelling-affected areas, understand their hardships, and communicate their concerns to both the party and the administration. He stated that it was the party’s responsibility to ensure that these vulnerable communities receive timely help and attention.

Highlighting the ongoing security concerns along the border, Sat Sharma stressed the need for advance preparedness to deal with any emergencies that may arise due to the unpredictable and often hostile behavior of Pakistan. He called for the formulation of emergency response plans at the local level and the provision of support infrastructure to safeguard the lives and properties of border residents.

Rajeev Bhagat, while addressing the gathering, reiterated his full support for the party’s vision and the leadership of Sat Sharma. He assured that dedicated efforts are being made to implement the organizational directives in his constituency. “We are committed to building robust booth-level teams and promoting a culture of discipline, service, and accountability within the party ranks,” Bhagat said.

Rinku Choudhary also spoke on the occasion and reassured the leadership that the party cadre is actively working to expand BJP’s footprint. He informed that outreach activities are being conducted regularly to connect with new voters and to ensure the party’s message reaches every household in the region.
