Samba Police held heroin peddler; seizes heroin worth Rs 50 thousand

SAMBA, 23 Feb: District Police Samba, under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Benam Tosh, have intensified the drive against narcotic suppliers and arrested one heroin peddler.

It is learnt Heroin like substance was recovered from his possession. Besides this, three-wheeler Auto has also been seized by the Police.

In a short span of one and half months, a total of nine notorious suppliers of heroin, including three female inter-state heroin smugglers, were apprehended by Samba Police. Special nakas, traps & raids are regularly being conducted to nab other elements involved in narcotic trafficking & drug supplying.
