RWS Ganderbal conducts Field Test Kit training of PRIs, Pani samitis

GANDERBAL, June 22: One-day Handholding session for water quality regarding use of Field Test Kits (FTKs) was conducted by Rural Water Supply (RWS) Division Ganderbal in collaboration with the PMU team.

The event was attended by Sarpanchs, Pani samiti and FTK women, who were trained by the lab staff.

Felicitation to hard working lab staff and sample collectors was done by Executive Engineer, Er. Samiullah Beigh RWS, Ganderbal.

On the occasion, Executive Engineer Ganderbal Jal Shakhti, stressed on PRIs to use FTKs provided to them and update the department regarding quality of drinking water at consumer points. He highlighted various steps taken in Ganderbal to ensure water quality as per BIS 10500.

At the end, Technical officer to Executive Engineer thanked participants, PMU team and Chief Chemist along with his team for conducting this training. She urged them to conduct such handholding programmes at least once a month.
