Rotary International honours Jaswinder Singh Kuku as outstanding Club President for Humanitarian and Sports initiatives in J&K

Rotary International the Largest NGO in the world held Annual  District Awards for its District comprising of Punjab, J&K and Himachal Pradesh. Jaswinder Singh Kuku
was judged as the Outstanding Club President among 121 Presidents. Jaswinder
Kuku is President of Rotary Club Jammu Helping Hand. Rtn Kuku was also awarded
for promoting Sports in Jammu Kashmir. Rotarian Kuku held numerous camps  for
the needy people by supporting them with clothing, providing food for the
underprivileged from time to time in J&K. He has been very active in providing
medical facilities to the needy by organising medical camps.Rtn Kuku who himself is
a renowned hockey player of the JK state as well as in international Circuit. He was
instrumental in organising a Rotary Hockey Championship thereby trying to attract
youth to sporting activity with a sole aim of “No to Drugs”. For his such philanthropy
activities he was awarded by District Governor Dr. PS Grover. On asking about the
awards he said that he is thankful to his club mates who stood with him in conducting such humanitarian works and the Distt Governor who recognised his works.
