Road Safety Week: Awareness Program, Free Medical & Eye Check up Camp held for drivers, conductors at Pul-Doda

DODA, January 17: A Road Safety Awareness Program & Free Medical & Eye Check up Camp for Drivers/conductors was organized by ARTO Doda in collaboration with Health Department on the concluding Day of Road Safety week 2023, here at Pul Doda.

The Free Medical & Eye Check up Camp was inaugurated by   Kuldeep Singh, ARTO.

More than 100 commercial vehicle drivers and conductors were screened in the camp. Blood Pressure Checkup, Eye Sight tests etc were done by the expert medical Team comprising of Dr. Tariq Saleem, Dr. Nasir Masood, Dr. Barkatullah, Noor Mohd Pharmacist, Raju Kumar Ophthalmic Technician, Naveen Kumar MTS & Kozi Tabassum FMPHW.  

Road Safety Awareness/Counseling was also imparted to the participants by the MVD & Traffic Police. 

The program was also attended by Baljit Singh, DySP Traffic;   Jasbir Singh MVI; Members of Minibus Association including Akhter Hussain, Chairman;   Tahir Hussain Shah, President;  Sarfaraz Malik, Cashier & Members of Taxi/Maxi Union  Javed Naik president and   Akhter Giri.

The Program was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner.
