Road Safety Month: Helmets distributed among Motorcyclists in B’la

BARAMULLA, JANUARY 19: In line with the ongoing 35th National Road Safety Month, the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) Baramulla today organized a Road Safety Awareness Program where helmets were distributed among two wheeler riders.

The main feature of the programme was to give new helmets to motorcyclists who were already wearing helmets and the old helmets from them were taken and given to those people who were riding without helmets as a mark of gesture.

The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO), Muazzam Ali, emphasized the significance of different traffic rules and urged all stakeholders in society to acknowledge their responsibilities towards better traffic management and road safety.

ARTO highlighted that while changing driving behavior may take time, education remains the key to achieving this transformation.

The ARTO Office Baramulla continues to play an active role in fostering a safer road environment, and such awareness programs contribute significantly to creating a culture of responsible driving within the community.
