Road safety enforcement drive conducted in Rajouri; violators booked

RAJOURI, JUNE 13: The Motor Vehicle Department Rajouri conducted an intensive road checking drive here at Panja Chowk and adjoining areas.

The enforcement drive was carried out in the wee hours by MVI, Rahul Singh and other officials of under the supervision of ARTO Rajesh Gupta. 

During the drive, 100 vehicles were checked of which 17 were e-challaned for different violations, with an expected penalty amounting to Rs. 42,000 (Forty-two thousand only). In addition, 6 e-Autos found being operated without valid driving licences were seized on the spot.

The Drive was conducted in line with the directions of Transport Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan and Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma.
