Registration Camp for Service Providers held at Dessa
DODA, MAY 17: An awareness-cum-registration camp was organised for individuals providing services during annual Shri Amarnath Nath Ji Yatra (SANJY) here at village Bhata in Dessa. The event, organised by the Labour Department, witnessed on the spot registration of Pithuwalas, Ponywalas and Palkiwalas.

The camp was organised on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh, Labour Commissioner, Charandeep Singh and under the supervision of Assistant Labour Commissioner, Nehal Pandit.
It aimed to simplify and streamline the registration process, making it more accessible for service providers. The goal is to ensure that those involved in SANJY-2025 do not have to travel long distances for registration, thereby saving their time and effort.
The camp was organised in coordination with the Animal Husbandry Department to facilitate a smooth registration process for the stakeholders involved.
Similar registration camps are scheduled to be conducted by the Labour Department in Kastigarh and Doda in the coming week to cover more service providers across the district.
Additionally, a permanent registration desk has been set up at the Office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Doda, to assist service providers who may have missed the camps.
The Labour Department continues to work in coordination with other departments to ensure that all eligible service providers are registered well in time for SANJY-2025.
