Reasi police team tracks down missing woman, reunites her with family

A woman who went missing earlier this month has been reunited with her family thanks to the efforts of the Reasi Police.

On April 4th, a resident of Bhaga reported his wife missing to the Reasi Police Station. Sensing the urgency of the situation, SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma-IPS formed a special team to locate the woman as soon as possible.

The team spoke with the family, relatives, and friends of the missing woman, gathering clues that helped them narrow down their search. With the help of technical assistance and tireless work, the police team was able to pinpoint the woman’s location.

Officers then went to the location and safely recovered the woman. After completing all necessary legal procedures, they reunited her with her overjoyed family.

The family and community members expressed their gratitude to the Reasi Police for their dedication and swift action in bringing their loved one home.

The Reasi Police reaffirmed their commitment to protecting women, particularly minors, from crime. They also urged young women to be aware of potential dangers and avoid interacting with strangers.
