Reasi Admin finalises arrangements for launch of 15-Day “Dharti Aaba Abhiyan”
REASI, JUNE 13: The District Administration Reasi has finalized arrangements to launch a 15-day Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan from June 15 to June 30, 2025.
The campaign will begin with a district level launch event at Mahore on June 15 and soon after span across 44 selected tribal villages including 7 in Chassana Block, 5 in Mahore Block, 5 in Thuroo Block, 5 in Jij Bagli Block, 16 in Thakrakote Block, 3 in Pouni Block and 1 each in Bhomag, Reasi and Arnas Blocks.
In this regard, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Sukhdev Singh Samyal chaired a meeting to finalize the preparations.
The campaign will feature delivery of services related to Aadhaar enrollment, issuance of Ayushman Bharat card, caste and domicile certificates and saturation of a host of other social welfare schemes.
To promote livelihood, the tribal community would be provided benefits of agriculture and allied sector schemes, access to drinking water supply through Har Ghar Nal Se Jal scheme, Electricity connections under Power sector schemes, besides offering health services, skill development training, provision of ration under food security schemes, creation of public assets under Rural Development Department schemes, benefits under forest right Act and other tribal welfare programs.
The Block Development Officers (BDOs) will serve as campaign nodal officers and shoulder the responsibility of planning, organizing and documenting each event — including uploading of photographs and videos on the dedicated portal.
The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mahore was directed to make adequate arrangements for proper seating, uninterrupted power supply and provision for safe drinking water at the District Level Launch event.
Banking institutions were instructed to facilitate the opening of accounts for eligible individuals on the spot to facilitate direct benefit transfer under the schemes. The CMO Reasi was tasked with ensuring full coverage under health schemes, while agriculture and allied departments will raise awareness and facilitate registration under their respective initiatives.
All District Heads of Departments were instructed to ensure active participation from block and field-level officers to make certain that no tribal household or eligible beneficiary was denied the rightful entitlements.
The meeting was attended by ADC Rakesh Kumar, CPO Narinder Kumar, PO POSHAN Rakesh Kumar, DSWO and other senior officials. SDM Mahore joined the meeting virtually.
