Rajouri Admin to act tough against CLU Violations

RAJOURI, MAY 29: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today asked the enforcement departments to initiate legal action against the misuse of Change of Land Use permissions while chairing a meeting of District Level Committee on Change of Land Use (CLU) held today.

He directed the concerned officers to conduct physical inspections of cases where CLU has been approved previously to prevent the misuse of permissions. He directed the enforcement departments to report violations, if any, for appropriate legal action.

The DC emphasized strict enforcement of the Ribbon Development Act and instructed the Executive Engineers of PWD, PMGSY and officers from BROs to check the violations scrupulously and initiate legal proceedings against the defaulters.
He also directed all departments to ensure timely submission of comments so that genuine cases are not delayed

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the commitment of the district administration to ensure adherence to norms and regulations concerning land use, in order to promote planned development and prevent unauthorized constructions.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner revenue Rajouri, Jahangir Khan, Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera, and other district and sectoral officers.
