Public Park inaugurated at Gulabgarh-Paddar, work in progress on several RDD projects

KISHTWAR, March 15: A public park developed by the Rural Development Department was inaugurated today at Gulabgarh by local DDC Councilor Hari Krishan Chauhan in presence of Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Phulail Singh.

After the inauguration, a comprehensive review meeting was convened in the Block Development Office (BDO) Gulabgarh, where office staff members briefed about the progress and challenges encountered in the execution of these projects.

 DDC Chauhan and ADC actively engaged with the local populace to gauge their feedback and address any concerns they may have regarding the ongoing developmental endeavors. This interactive session underscored the commitment of the district administration towards fostering inclusive development and ensuring that the aspirations of the local community are duly met.

The inspection and subsequent engagements underscore the relentless efforts of the administration towards the holistic development of rural areas, with a focus on enhancing infrastructure, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, and fostering community participation in governance processes.

 Later, they conducted a comprehensive inspection of various developmental initiatives under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP), Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana 2.0 (PMKSY 2.0), and Capital Expenditure Swachh Bharat Mission (CapEx.SBM) in Gulabgarh Padder.

ACD Kishtwar who holds additional charge of AD Handicrafts also inspected the Wheat Straw Training Centre of Handicraft at Gulabgarh.

Notable projects included the construction of Panchayat Bhawan, Block Development Council (BDC) building, and a plastic segregation shed.
