Srinagar, 03 June 2025: Crescent Public School, Naseem Bagh, Srinagar, hosted a grand felicitation ceremony to celebrate the remarkable achievements of its students in academics. The event honoured the toppers and distinction holders of the recently declared JKBOSE results for Class 10th, 11th and 12th. Attended by prominent dignitaries, the ceremony was a vibrant tribute to student excellence, discipline and all-round development reflecting the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing future leaders.

The special occasion was graced by a host of respected dignitaries, including G.N. Var, President of Private Schools Association J&K (PSAJK) and Chairman of Coaching Centres Association Kashmir (CCAK); Sayeed Ahmed Habib, Chairman of Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom, Poonch; Haji Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo, Chairman of NLCO; Er. Muhammad Shukiel Dar, Chairman of Crescent Public School; Riyaz Ahmad Siddiqui, Chief Executive Officer; Ms. Farhat Ara Makhdoomi, Principal; Shabbar Khan, Vice Principal, Er. Nawab Ali Joo, Administrative Officer and parents. All the dignitaries praised the students and the school for their dedication and positive contribution to society.

The program was hosted by CPS Vice Principal Shabbar Khan, who kept the audience engaged with his articulate presentation. “Today, we honour not just academic success, but the all-round development of our students. Their discipline, dedication and values are what make them truly exceptional” he said while addressing the gathering.

Principal Ms. Farhat Ara Makhdoomi warmly welcomed the guests and highlighted the school’s mission. “We believe in creating a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and inspired to achieve their best. This celebration is a reflection of our collective effort teachers, students and parents together,” she said.

PSAJK President G.N. Var, in his keynote address, praised the students and the school’s management. “Schools like Crescent Public School are true examples of progress in education in Jammu & Kashmir. These young students are the future leaders and their success shows the good guidance and support they are getting,” he said.

He further added, “Our students have done a great job, even though they faced many challenges. These are the same children who had to go through a tough time during the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in the academic calendar. Still, they stayed strong and worked hard. I warmly congratulate Crescent Public School Management, students, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff. It is because of their joint effort and hard work that this success became possible.”

He also encouraged the students to stay focused on their goals and keep learning with dedication and honesty.

Sayeed Ahmed Habib praised the school for its role in value-based and moral education. “Your students not only excel in studies but are grounded in ethics and humanity. That is the true success of any educational institution,” he said.

Renowned social and environmental activist Haji Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo, Chairman of NLCO, encouraged students “Alongside academic success, you must carry a sense of duty towards your society and environment. True education reflects in action,” he emphasized.

Er. Muhammad Shukiel Dar, Chairman of CPS, expressed pride in the school’s ethos and the students’ accomplishments. “At Crescent, we aim to nurture not just intellect but integrity. I am proud to witness our students growing into responsible, capable citizens,” he noted.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the school’s Administrative Officer, Er. Nawab Ali Joo, who expressed deep gratitude to the dignitaries and all participants. “Your presence here is not just an honour, but a powerful encouragement to our students and staff. We thank you all for being part of this memorable day,” he said.
