Priya chairs Shakti Vandana Abhiyan meeting

Jammu : Former minister and BJP National Executive Member Priya Sethi, chaired a joint meeting of Jammu, Jammu South, Jammu North, Border and Kashmir Displaced districts at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, for Shakti Vandana Abhiyan programmes.

Abhiyan Coordinator Anuradha Charak, Co-Coordinators Veenu Khanna and Arti Koul shared dais with Priya Sethi.

This meeting was convened to review the programmes undertaken as well as the preparations made to reach the maximum Self-Help Groups and NGOs and honour the women functionaries of these organizations.

Priya Sethi, on this occasion, said that Shakti Vandana Abhiyaan will be extended to every district and in the coming days more districts will be covered. She said that a target of 25 crore voters outreach has been fixed across the country and J&K has to contribute maximum and it has to undertake the exercise of meeting Self Help Groups and NGOs extensively. We have to seek their help in reaching the beneficiaries of different welfare schemes of Narendra Modi government. This Abhiyan also focus on involving the former MLAs, MLCs and other public representatives as Coordinators at different levels.

Anuradha Charak, in the meeting, sought data compiled related to the Abhiyaan and said that every effort has to be made to reach entire length and breadth of the UT.

Veenu Khanna said that as the party has to go to polls in coming months, hence it becomes imperative to ensure that the BJP activists discharge their responsibilities dedicatedly.

Arti Koul said that the united efforts of all the activists in different departments, projects and Abhiyans of BJP in the UT would surely prove to be of great benefit in elections
