Pre-Campaign to World Environment Day Concludes in Sub-Division Khaltse

Khaltse, June 4, 2025: The Forest Range Office, Khaltse, successfully concluded its week-long initiative titled “Pre-Campaign to World Environment Day” today in Sub-Division Khaltse. As part of the closing ceremony, a plantation drive featuring conifer and oleander (oleafer) saplings was carried out around the SDM office compound.

The plantation drive was formally inaugurated by the Incharge Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Asgar Ali, in the presence of Naib Tehsildar Temisgam, Mohd Iqbal; Ex-Sarpanch Khaltse, Nawang Rigzin; Forest Range Officer Khaltse, Deskyong Namgyal; and Forest Block Officer, Abass Ali.

Officials from the SDM Office, Tehsil Office, and Forest Department actively participated in the plantation drive, reflecting a collective commitment to environmental conservation ahead of World Environment Day.
