Prabhari Officer visits Panchayat Mand West; conducts gram Sabha  

UDHAMPUR, January 06: Mission Director, Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) Indu Kanwal Chib, who is Prabhari Officer today visited Panchayat Mand west and inspected the ongoing developmental works.

During the visit, the Visiting Officer convened a meeting of Officers of line departments, PRI members, general public and took stock of follow up of Back to Village phase fourth development activities.

The Visiting Officer also interacted with the Officers of line departments  and enquired about the steps being taken  for timely redressal of public grievances raised in the Gram Sabha during Back to Village phase fourth held at Baswani. She apprised the public that “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur”- is a campaign launched by the UT government for redressal of Public issues and to provide services at their door steps.

The Visiting officer apprised the participants that annual action plan of 31 departments have been prepared and finalised in the Gram Sabha.

Some rectifications were found and further directions were issued to the officers of the line departments and  PRI members to re-verify the detail so that final GPD plan can be submitted to the concerned quarters for its timely approval.

The MD, JKRLM, urged the public  for active  participation in these programmes and  to avail the maximum benefits of different government schemes and programmes.

Among others, Block Development Officer, Tikri Disha Gupta, besides PRI members and general public attended the programme.
