Police apprehends drug peddler with 12 kgs of contraband in Baramulla

In a significant development in the fight against drug trafficking, police in Pattan, Baramulla, have arrested a drug peddler and seized a staggering 12 kilograms of contraband Bhung Patri-like substances.

The operation carried out at Shirpora Pattan, has dealt a major blow to the illegal narcotics trade in the region.

A case has been registered at Police Station Pattan against the accused and a comprehensive investigation to unearth the source and network behind the large quantity of contraband was launched by the Baramulla police.
