POCSO accused on the run successfully arrested by police in Bandipora

In a swift operation, Bandipora Police today apprehended an accused who had been evading arrest in a case registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The accused was wanted in connection with FIR No. 03/2024 registered at Police Station (PS) Sumbal. “The swift action of police has ensured that the accused will face the law for his alleged crime.

The accused will now be presented before the court, where further proceedings will take place.
