PM Modi thanks Japan’s ambassador for praising ‘Mann ki Baat’

New Delhi, May 3 (PTI) Japan’s ambassador to India Hiroshi Suzuki has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 100th episode of “Mann ki Baat”, and quoted the late Japanese leader Shinzo Abe to praise the radio broadcast.

Modi, in turn, thanked the diplomat on Wednesday. “Thank you for the kind words and for also remembering my friend, late Mr. Shinzo Abe,” he tweeted.

Suzuki had earlier tweeted, “Congratulations on the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, PM @narendramodi. The program, as our late Japanese PM Shinzo Abe wrote in the preface to the book ‘Mann Ki Baat: A Social Revolution on Radio’, reflects PM Modi’s ‘strong passion for dialogue’.”

The monthly radio programme, which completed its 100th episode on April 30, is aired on the last Sunday of every month.
