Pawar hails bravery of Armed Forces during Operation Sindoor

Samba, June 16, 2025:- Senior Congress leader and former MLA Indu Pawar on Monday paid rich tributes to the Indian Armed Forces for their extraordinary courage and sacrifices during Operation Sindoor, describing their action as a symbol of India’s unwavering resolve against terrorism and external threats.

Speaking at the Jai Hind Sabha organised by DCC Samba under presidentship of Sanjeev Sharma alongwith other senior congress leaders including former minister Yash Pal Kundal, Working President DCC Babbal Gupta,Ex Councilor Kuber Singh, Mandip Chaudhary & several others, She lauded the role & bravery of armed forces who always achieved the target.

Pawar said the recent operation launched by Indian forces in response to the Pahalgam terror attack had once again proved that India will never bow before the forces of terror.
Later ” Jai Hind Yatra was taken out which witnessed enthusiastic participation of large number of people including congress workers holding the national flag (Tiranga )in their hands & raised spirited slogans of Jai Hind.
“Our soldiers displayed unparalleled bravery during Operation Sindoor, not only neutralising threats across the border but also sending a strong and clear message that India will not tolerate attacks on its people or its sovereignty,” she said.
Pawar underscored that the bravery of the Indian forces in the face of cross-border terrorism was not just a tactical success but a moral victory for the entire nation. “Each soldier who participated in this operation upheld the highest traditions of the Indian Army — courage, discipline, and commitment to the motherland. The entire country is proud of their valour and sacrifice,” she added.
She said the Congress party has always stood in full support of the Indian Armed Forces and will continue to do so, beyond politics .
“National security and respect for our soldiers is above all political considerations. We salute the bravery of our jawans and assure their families that the nation stands firmly behind them”, She said.
She Called upon the youth to draw inspiration from the armed forces,adding sacrifices made by our soldiers are a call to all Indians — especially the youth — to contribute to the nation with dedication, honesty, and a spirit of service.”
She praised the spirit of the people of Samba district, who have always stood shoulder to shoulder with the Army and security forces. “This border belt has produced many heroes and continues to show immense patriotism. The enthusiasm with which the Jai Hind Sabha and Yatra were organized here reflects the people’s deep connection with the ideals of the Indian Armed Forces.”
Former Minister Yash Pal Kundal demanded more bunkers besides five marla plot to border line people in safer zones.
He said Pakistan cant be trusted, so our border people have to be alert.
