Only National Conference can ensure justice to all communities: Abdul Gani Teli

SAMBA January, 02 : Abdul Gani Teli, Provincial President OBC Cell, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Jammu, while flaying the ruling Government at the Centre for its hollow policies, asserted that only National Conference can fulfill the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir with its vision of a vibrant, progressive and united Jammu and Kashmir.

While addressing a meeting of party workers in  Birpur Data Talab District Samba, the senior NC leader stated that BJP befooled the people with its hollow promises before the elections and now the people of Jammu and Kashmir have today realize that they have been totally betrayed by the saffron party. He said that the people across the state are being made to suffer in absence of a representative government for no fault of theirs. He asserted that the government has virtually broken the spine of common people due to its anti-people policies the results of which are easily visible to everyone.

Abdul Gani Teli said that due to the anti-people policies of the government, unemployment is at its peak, inflation has gone out of control amid the sky rocketing prices of essential commodities while the claims of unprecedented development stand exposed with the snail’s pace of almost all the works. He claimed that as of today unemployment is at peak in J&K as the basic amenities have become out of common man’s reach with the rocketing hike in prices. 

Teli asserted that there is no one in the administration to look into the issues of downtrodden including OBCs and moreover they are being treated quite shabbily under the present regime led by the LG Manoj Sinha. He stated that it is only National Conference which can ensure justice to all the communities including the OBCs but for this the people will have to repose trust and confidence in the party and its leadership that will steer them out of the present morass.

Abdul Gani Teli also reiterated the demand of OBC Cell which include implementation of 27 percent reservation as per the Mandal Commission, issuance of one time certificate to OBC community members and construction of hostels for the OBC children in every district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Provincial President exhorted upon party workers to remain in general public in addressing their day-to-day issues and also work hard for the upcoming elections in the state by strengthen the hands of Party’s President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah.

Yashpal Verma, District President OBC Cell, Samba and Deepak Kumar, who organized today’s meeting, assured the Provincial President that they will make all possible efforts in making people aware about the achievements of the National Conference and will also work for strengthening the base of the Party.
