Srinagar Police on Wednesday asserted that there was no grenade attack in Zoonimar area and stated it was completely fake news and media persons should verify the news before disseminating it.

There is a fake news circulated by some irresponsible journalists about a grenade attack in zoonimar area. This is complete fake news & media persons are kindly requested to verify authenticity of news from authorities before spreading such unverified news.

Srinagar Police in a Tweet informed, that a piece of fake news has been circulated by some irresponsible journalists about a grenade attack in the area which is completely false, and requested media persons not to spread such unverified news.
