BANDIPORA, May 24: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad, awareness programs including Quiz Competition, rallies on Drug Demand Reduction was organised today at Boys Higher Secondary School Dawer and Higher Secondary School Purana Tulail (PTL)
The programs were attended by a huge gathering of students, staff members, SMDC members, DDC, PRIs members and the representatives of the Medical Department.
Students on the occasions delivered lectures regarding the ill effects of Drug Addiction. Staff members also gave an in-depth briefing about the menace of drug addiction around our localities and other parts of Kashmir valley.
The representatives of the Medical department raised awareness among the students regarding the demerits of Drugs and its impact on the society.
During the programme, DDC, PRI members also discussed the effects of drug addiction in the society and said that the message of ‘Say No to Drugs’ should spread in every nook and corner of the society.
