NC holds potential to fulfil aspirations of all sections of society: Former-Minister

JAMMU May 16: The educated youth of J&K is frustrated and hopeless as majority of them are getting overaged, and special employment packages should be extended to them by central govt, said former Minister and JKNC Zonal President, Babu Rampaul.

He added that the business community of J&K has also suffered adversely and it has pinned high hopes on J&K National Conference for mitigation of their sufferings.

Babu Ram Paul was addressing a Youth meeting organized by Dr Vikas Sharma, Zonal Secretary & Co-ordinator Jammu District (Urban), JKNC. Ram Paul was the chief guest on the occasion

While speaking on the occasion, Babu Rampaul urged upon the youth to get ready for playing a vital role to bring change.  He said that the present scenario of Jammu and Kashmir has pushed the youth towards depression and anxiety as they are worried about their future presently looming in darkness.

“Unemployment among youth has also impacted the life of the educated youth who are concerned about their career for which their parents are in a doldrums and deeply worried about their children”, Ram Paul added.

Former Minister criticised the stoppage of ‘Darbar Move’ practice as immoral by the government because it has adversely affected the business community. “The business community, small traders and commoners are all suffering due to policy paralysis and deep rooted corruption at all levels.

Babu Rampaul while making comparative study of the regime of JKNC especially Sher-E-Kashmir Jb. Sheikh Mohd Abdullah, Dr.Farooq Abdullah, Jb.Omar Abdullah in which a lot of measures have been taken for the welfare of the people of J&K. Ultimately, He asked the party workers of J&K to remain united and work with zeal and dedication for ensuring the welfare of the common masses of J&K and to strengthen the JKNC party at the grass root levels.

Zonal Secretary JKNC, Dr Vikas Sharma while speaking on the occasion said that it was under NC’s rule that the erstwhile state was among top states of our country. He said that from unemployment to literacy Jammu and Kashmir was and is in a far better position than other states of India. He lambasted those dividing people in the name of religion and region. He said that the time has come to defeat such forces and strengthen the hands of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Jenab Omar Abdullah for lasting peace in the Union Territory.

He also lashed out at Centre for playing with the future of youth by imposing ill-conceived policies on them. “Youth is under depression due to large scale corruption in the recruitment processes and have no avenues for jobs.
