Nalwa Along With Residents Listen 100th Episode Of “Mann Ki Baat”

JAMMU , 30 April: The 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio address “Mann Ki Baat” was broadcast today with lakhs of people having listened to the popular programme in different parts of the world.

In order to reach out to the general masses, UT President “BJP Minority Morcha” Ranjodh Singh Nalwa visited Simbal Camp ward No. 2 Booth No. 16C area of Jammu district along with other party functionaries today. He listened Prime Minister’s Program, “Mann Ki Baat” with locals.

An interactive session with masses was held on the occasion. Nalwa who was the chief guest also presided over the function which was organised by Gurdeep Singh Babbi and other office bearers on the occasion of Prime Minister Narinder Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” program. Hundreds of workers besides a large number of people participated in the program. 

“It is a historic moment with the 100th episode being broadcasted live in the United Nations headquarters in New York,” Nalwa said.

“It is a matter of great satisfaction that over 100 crore people have connected to Mann Ki Baat. It concerns directly  people, celebrates grassroots-level change makers and achievements of people and has influenced people towards positive actions,” he further added.

“Five key themes associated with Mann Ki Baat that is cleanliness and sanitation, health, wellness, water conservation and sustainability are the core areas of this program and the BJP had planned massive outreach to make the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat a memorable occasion,” Nalwa also observed adding that party had organised facilities in every Assembly constituency of the Union Territory for people to listen to the programme and know people oriented developmental and welfare schemes launched by the BJP led central government.

He further informed that apart from 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, Mann Ki Baat is broadcast in 11 foreign languages including French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashtu, Persian, Dari and Swahili. Mann Ki Baat is being broadcast by more than 500 broadcast centres of All India Radio, he explained.

Pertinently, the programme, which started on October 3, 2014, has become a key pillar of the government’s citizen-outreach programme addressing multiple social groups such as women, youth and farmers and has spurred community action.

Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included, Rajinder Singh( Vice President), Damanjeet Singh( Vice President), Santokh Singh( General Secretary), Syed Asad Malik, Harpaal Singh( Executive Member), Parvaiz Malik, Inderjeet Singh and others.
