Mula Ram, Hari Singh visit shelter camps in Mishriwala, listen to public issues
Jammu, May 9: Senior Congress leader and former Minister Mula Ram, along with Hari Singh Chib, Vice President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee(JKPCC) incharge District President Jammu Rural (JKPCC), today visited the shelter camps set-up by the district administration at Government Degree College Paloura Mishriwala,, and Sahib Bandagi Ashram Misriwala. The visit was undertaken to assess the condition of residents shifted from villages Gharkal, Pargwal, and adjoining areas due to unprovoked firing from across the border by Pakistan.

During the visit, the Congress leaders interacted with the displaced residents and listened to their concerns amidst escalating tensions along the Indo-Pak border. The people highlighted the lack of basic facilities including shortage of medicines, unhygienic washrooms, and poor sanitation. They also requested essential supplies such as milk and other necessities for small children.
Mula Ram ,Hari singh assured the people that their concerns would be taken up with the Congress High Command. They reiterated the party’s deep concern for the welfare of border residents and affirmed that steps would be initiated to ensure immediate relief.
“The Congress Party is fully aware of the difficulties faced by the people living near the border and remains committed to standing by them in these testing times,” said Mula Ram. Both leaders said that”We are here on the directions of senior Congress leadership — Shri Mallikarjun Kharge ji, Shri Rahul Gandhi ji, Shri K.C. Venugopal ji, Dr. Naseer Khan ji, and Shri Karra Sahib ji — to take stock of the situation and ensure timely support for the affected people.”
Hari Singh Chib emphasized unity among the people and called for unwavering support to the Indian Army. He reiterated that the Congress Party, under the visionary leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Party President Mallikarjun Kharge and kc venugopal ji,Dr Naseer hussain khan ji and Tariq Hameed Karra sahib remains steadfast in its commitment to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially those living in vulnerable border areas.
He assured the affected individuals that the Congress Party would advocate for immediate steps to address their pressing needs and would work to ensure that all necessary assistance is delivered without delay.
Both the senior Congress leaders also appealed to the government to urgently address the problems being faced by the affected people, so that they can receive timely relief during this difficult period.
