SAMBA, FEBRUARY 26: The Railway Department on Monday organized a significant event under the Amrit Bharat Railway Station scheme, unveiling plans for the extensive upgrading of 554 railway stations and the development of 1500 new railway crossings.

The ceremony marked a historic moment as the foundation stone for the Gura More Railway Over Bridge was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually, while Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma, DDC Chairman Samba Keshav Dutt Sharma, DC Samba Abhishek Sharma, SSP Samba and other concerned officers besides a large number of locals were present at the site.

The Amrit Bharat Railway Station scheme underscores the commitment of the Railway Department to modernize and enhance railway infrastructure across the country. The ambitious initiative aims to improve connectivity, safety, and efficiency, benefiting both passengers and freight transportation.
