Most wanted female drug smuggler arrested in Baramulla; transferred to Jammu’s Central Jail

In a significant breakthrough, Baramulla Police have successfully apprehended Afroza Begum, widely known as Afree, a notorious figure on the list of most wanted drug smugglers.

The arrest was made under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act, following a meticulous operation conducted by the law enforcement agencies.

She is currently confined to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal in Jammu, awaiting further legal proceedings. This victory against the drug trade is expected to disrupt smuggling networks and bring relief to the community.
