Mission YUVA: Awareness/ Registration campaign organized at Chijhama Baramulla

BARAMULLA, MAY 17: As part of the outreach efforts under Mission YUVA, the District Administration Baramulla, through the District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Baramulla, organized an awareness-cum-registration campaign at DAK Bungalow Chijhama, covering the Sopore and Rohama sub-divisions.

The initiative aimed to reach grassroots-level youth and facilitate aspiring entrepreneurs in launching their own business ventures under various government-supported schemes.

The event witnessed active participation from Potential Entrepreneurs (PEs), YUVA Doots, and Business Help Desk (BHD) members.

The programme was graced by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore and Nodal Officer for SBD Sopore/Rohama, Shabir Ahmad Raina.

In his address, ADC underlined the importance of dedicated efforts by YUVA Doots and BHD members for the successful implementation of Mission YUVA. He urged the youth to adopt entrepreneurship as a viable and empowering career path, and highlighted the wide range of benefits available under the Mission.

During the session, a team from DE&CC Baramulla, in collaboration with SBDU, provided an in-depth overview of Mission YUVA. Participants were guided through the process of downloading the Mission YUVA Mobile Application and registering themselves digitally. The application process, it was highlighted, is completely paperless, requiring no physical visits to offices, and ensures access to collateral-free loans.

Under the initiative, entrepreneurs can avail support in multiple categories including Nano Enterprises, MSMEs, Existing Enterprises, and Neo-Innovative Enterprises, depending on their interest and business ideas.
