RAJOURI, MARCH 12: Marking a powerful stride in democratic participation, Government Higher Secondary School Dalhori, Zone Baljarallan, hosted an impactful awareness campaign under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative.

Guided by the adept coordination of District Election Officer Om Parkash Bhagat and the leadership of Prof. Mohd Iqbal Raina, DNO from the District SVEEP Cell Rajouri, the event aimed to illuminate the community about the pivotal role of voting in the electoral process.

Mohammad Ayaz Raina, a dedicated member of the District SVEEP Cell, fervently outlined the objectives of SVEEP and underscored the critical importance of each vote. The resonating theme, “No voter to be left out and mission 75%,” reverberated through the engaging session.

Comprising Class 12th students, institution staff, supervisors from the surrounding polling stations and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) from nearby panchayats, the participants actively absorbed the insights shared during the awareness session.

Ayaz Raina’s comprehensive presentation ignited a collective commitment among attendees to propagate the campaign’s message to their respective Panchayats.

The success of this awareness campaign stands as a significant stride toward achieving the mission of a 75% voter turnout, ensuring that no eligible voter is overlooked. The dedication displayed by the participants at HSS Dalhori exemplifies the grassroots strength needed to construct a resilient democratic society.
