LG Manoj Sinha condoles demise of labour in snow avalanche at Ganderbal’s Sonamarg

JAMMU, Jan 12: LG Manoj Sinha condoled the heart-wrenching demise of labour in snow avalanche in Sonamarg of Ganderbal district.

In a tweet, LG Manoj Sinha wrote, “I am deeply anguished to learn of the unfortunate incident of snow avalanche at Sonamarg in which a precious life has been lost. Army, Police & SDRF teams are engaged in search & rescue operation. Directed dist admin to provide all necessary assistance to the affected persons.”

Manoj Sinha further added Army, Police & SDRF teams have been deployed at the requisite location and search and rescue operation is underway.

Besides, Sinha has directed district administration to provide important support to affected ones.
