LG Ladakh lauds Armed Forces resilience & PM Modi’s leadership; Refutes claims of Chinese occupation

Brig. (Dr) B D Mishra (Retd.), the Lt. Governor of Ladakh, lauded the unwavering determination and high morale of the Indian armed forces stationed in the region. Speaking on the security situation in Ladakh, LG Mishra described it as “excellent” and expressed confidence in the armed forces’ dedication to safeguarding every inch of Indian territory.

In response to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s claims of Chinese occupation in Ladakh, LG countered, asserting that there is not a single square inch of Indian land under Chinese control. He emphasized that his own observations confirmed this fact and refrained from commenting on political statements. Instead, he focused on the preparedness of the Indian armed forces.

“We are fully prepared for any eventuality,” stated Brig. Mishra, adding that any potential aggressors would face a formidable response from India’s armed forces, saying, “People will get a bloody nose from us if the balloon goes up.”

LG Ladakh credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the strength of India’s security posture, stating that no one would dare to attempt to establish a foothold in India. His remarks reflect the commitment of the Indian government and armed forces to protecting the country’s territorial integrity amidst ongoing geopolitical challenges in the region.
