Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission (LRLM) successfully conducted a four-day residential orientation program on the Governance and Management of Village Organizations (VOs) for Community Mobilizers of Leh District.
The training was held from 18th to 21st June 2025, conducted in two batches simultaneously across two venues in Leh District, ensuring wide participation and effective engagement. Around 100 community mobilizers from various blocks of the district took part in the program.

Organized in collaboration with National Resource Persons (NRPs) from NIRDPR, Hyderabad, the training aimed to equip community mobilizers with the skills and knowledge required to support and strengthen Village Organizations in their respective areas.
The sessions covered both basic orientations and in-depth discussions on various components such as the Books of Records, Micro Credit Planning, and essential principles of management and governance at the VO level.
This initiative is a crucial step towards building a robust community support structure in Ladakh, enabling community cadres to provide informed and effective support to their community-based organizations.
