Kishtwar: Gram Sabha meeting convened on Day 5 of DAJGUA campaign
KISHTWAR, JUNE 19: The “Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan” (DAJGUA) campaign entered fifth day of the 15 day impactful outreach initiative, reinforcing the government’s commitment to inclusive development and grassroots empowerment of tribal communities.

The day’s camp, organized at Government High School Pathernaki, Panchayat Piyas, Block Nagseni, began with the recitation of the National Anthem, setting a tone of unity and purpose.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals and was graced by DDC Member Nagseni Faisal Hussain and BDO Abhilash Sharma, who actively engaged with the community.
A brief overview of the DAJGUA initiative was presented, highlighting its focus on saturation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), doorstep delivery of government services, and real-time grievance redressal.
The camp featured informative stalls from departments including Agriculture, Health, ICDS, Social Welfare, Revenue, Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture, Fisheries, Ayush, Rural Development, Forest, and Jal Jeevan Mission, where representatives explained their flagship schemes and provided on-the-spot benefits.
DDC Member Faisal Hussain inspected the stalls, interacted with the officials and beneficiaries to ensure effective services delivery.
Additional highlights included the distribution of pamphlets by the Ayush and Rural Development Departments, plantation of tree saplings by the Forest Department, and distribution of seeds under the Poshan Vatika initiative to promote nutritional security.
The Jal Shakti Department conducted on-the-spot water quality testing, while the Social Welfare Department distributed notebooks to students.
The event also featured cultural performances by local students, celebrating tribal heritage and community spirit.
