KC Public School Investiture Ceremony 2025
The Investiture ceremony of KC Public School (Senior Wing) was held today morning in the general hall of KC Sports Club. It was a ceremonial occasion when elected representatives of the School Students’ Council for the academic year 2025-26 were given their badges and insignias of authority. Being the only school in J&K to enjoy the privilege of global membership of the Round Square, KCPS gives tangible shape to the Round Square ideals of Democracy and Leadership by conducting elections and conferring leadership roles on its students in the day-today running of the school. The ceremony commenced with the singing of the school song by the school choir group. It was followed by ceremonial march-in by all the office bearers of the Students’ Council constituted of school and House level appointments. After the march-in, school Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra administered a collective oath to all office bearers, laying particular stress on the elements of honesty, sincerity and commitment in performing their leadership roles. The eremonial proceedings concluded with bestowal of badges and other insignia of authority on the members of the Council by the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest in his address to the audience expressed his delight at being present on the occasion and lauded the school for setting up very high standards of excellence. He congratulated all the elected Council members and wished them success in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. He also put in a word of appreciation for the entire school staff for their deep devotion to their duties for the cause of quality education for the children of Jammu and Kashmir.
The function concluded with vote of thanks by the Vice Principal and the national anthem.
