Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor Miss their Uncle Rajiv Kapoor and write “Miss You Chimpu Uncle”

Rajiv Kapoor, who passed away on February 9, 2021, was a member of the Kapoor family, one of India’s most prominent and influential film families. The Kapoor family has a long and rich history in Indian cinema, with several generations of actors and filmmakers.

Rajiv Kapoor had a strong connection with the other members of the family. On his death anniversary, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and other members of the Kapoor clan remembered him and posted on their social media handles. Kareena took to her Instagram story to share a black and white picture of her Uncle Rajiv Kapoor and captioned it, “Miss you always Chimpu uncle.” Karisma also shared a throwback picture of Grandfather Raj Kapoor with his three sons- Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. She captioned the picture, “Chimpu uncle you are missed.” Many others from the Kapoor clan also took to her Instagram handle and shared their picture with Rajiv Kapoor.

Rajiv Kapoor was a famous Indian film actor and director. He was born on August 25, 1962, in Mumbai, India. He made his acting debut in the 1983 film “Ek Jaan Hain Hum,” and went on to star in several other popular films such as “Ram Teri Ganga Maili,” “Lava,” and “Zabardast.” He was also known for his roles in the TV series “Karamchand” and “Mahaldar Ki Tai.” In addition to acting, Rajiv also directed the film “Prem Granth” in 1996.
