JKPCC hails Rahul Gandhi, Congress leadership for forcing centre to announce caste census

Jammu, May 01 :  Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has hailed the congress leadership especially Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi for the success of the struggle and consistent  stand on the issue of caste census on the country as a result of which the BJP Govt. has to accept the congress demand  and announced caste census in the country.

In a joint statement JKPCC leaders congratulated party high command Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi for the acceptance of congress demand for caste census in the country by the BJP Govt. They said that this demand of caste census was first made by Congress Party and forcefully persued by the party leader Shri Rahul Gandhi on all platforms and  all occasions in the past few years forcing the Modi Govt to finally announced the caste census yesterday.

The congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi raised this issue time and again in both houses of Parliament along with other opposition parties I INDIA Block, besides on all public platforms making it a strong campaign in the country.

Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge wrote a letter to Prime Minister on behalf of Party in this regard besides the congress party’s Election Manifesto had declared that        it will ensure caste census in the country by applying all sorts of pressures in a democratic manner. Congress has declared  “ JITNI  JIS  KI  AVADI  UTNI  US  KI  HISEDARI”. They said that it is the out come of consistent struggle of congress party especially our leader Shri Rahul Gandhi that the demand for holding caste census was  accepted by the Centre Govt. They said that they thanked Congress leadership  Shri Rahul Gandhi for the continuation of this struggle in  the country. They said that if the exercise is completed within a time frame, it will lead to transformation and justice to all in the time to come.
