J&K Govt orders stop-gap promotions of section officers as under secretaries

 The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved a stop-gap arrangement promoting several section officers of the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service as under secretaries. As per Government Order No. 734-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued on June 18, these officers will serve in their own pay and grade with charge allowance for six months or until regular vacancies are filled through DPC/PSC recommendations, whichever is earlier.
