J&K BJP pays floral tributes to Adv. Ramesh Arora

Jammu, 07 May 2025: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, paid rich floral tributes to former MLC and senior leader Adv. Ramesh Arora in a Shradhanjali Sabha organized at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition and General Secretary, J&K BJP, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha), J&K BJP, Dr. Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Ministers, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA & General Secretary, J&K JBP, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, MLA, Adv. Sunil Sethi, Chief Spokesperson, J&K BJP, Baldev Singh Billawaria, senior leader, and others paid tributes to the former MLC.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma remembered Adv. Arora as a lifelong activist. On the occasion, he recalled his association with the former MLC, since the time, the Emergency was imposed in India. He described him as a dedicated and fearless leader who along with others devoted his life to the organization’s growth in the region.

“Adv. Ramesh Arora worked dedicatedly, consistently, and aggressively, for the nation and society, throughout his life. His demise is an irreparable loss to the organization. We, as an organization and the society, owe him a lot and remember him with the tearful eyes”, said Sat Sharma.

Dr. Nirmal Singh also paid glowing tributes to the late leader, recalling his active participation in various social and political agitations in Jammu. He called Adv. Arora the “epitome of activism” and highlighted his sincerity in raising issues of national and public interest with unmatched determination.

Ashok Koul said that the BJP family, through this solemn occasion, reaffirms its gratitude for the services and sacrifices of Adv. Ramesh Arora and pledge to carry forward his legacy of selfless service and ideological commitment.

Ch. Vikram Randhawa conducted the Shradhanjali Sabha proceedings.

Adv. Purnima Sharma, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, Adv. Ishant Mahajan, Adv. Rajesh Gupta, Rinku Choudhary, Prem Gupta, Inderjit, Rekha Mahajan, HS Pammi, Shailja Gupta, Asha Gupta, and others also paid tributes on the occasion.

BJP leaders observed a two-minute silence, praying for the departed soul’s Moksha and for strength to be granted to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
