J&K BJP celebrates 6th foundation of Nanaji Deshmukh Library

JAMMU, 30 April: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir celebrated 6th foundation of Nanaji Deshmukh Library & Documentation Department at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

The programme was organized by Department Incharge Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra along with team.

Padam Shree Shiv Kumar Nirmohi and Padam Shree Mohan Singh Salathia, Dr. Neelam Sareen, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Dr. Sushma Kumari, Brig. Anil Gupta, Major Gen Govardhan Singh Jamwal, Raj Rahi, CS Katal, Inderjeet Kesar, Randheer Singh Rajpuria, Rajeshwar Singh Raju and others were the attraction of the programme, who were felicitated on the occasion.

Vice-President Sham Lal Sharma, Dy. Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria, Secretary Veenu Khanna, Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, BJP Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra, Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, District President Rekha Mahajan, Ashu Mahajan, Zoravar Singh, Dil Bahadur Singh, Shailja Gupta, Mookherjee Sharma, Govind Sareen and other senior leaders were amongst .

CS Katal and Randhir Singh Rajpuria also mesmerized the audience with their exceptional vocal and oratory skills in poems and “Karak” of Baba Jitto. they also recited poems based upon achievements of PM Modi.

Ghulam Ali Khatana said that the BJP’s library hosts ocean of books and asked the public to use its services.

Kavinder Gupta said that even in today’s time of internet, the books hold their relevance and all must make a habit of reading books.

Shamsher singh said that a person should never stop learning till last breath as it improves the overall persona of that very person.

Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra shared the journey of Library since its inauguration by Amit Shah ji. He said that the Library aims to develop the personality of a political worker along with other wisdom seekers. He said that the Nanaji Deshmukh Library is open to anybody whether a student, scholar or any common person who is in quest for knowledge. He said that the Library house many rare books ranging from history to politics to religion and many other subjects, many of which may be not accessible at any other place. He thanked all those intellectuals and social workers whose works form a part of this Library.

Mohan Singh called for the promotion of Dogri language in his address.

Prof Nirmohi said that more such libraries must be opened in every place.

Prof. Nirmohi donated a whole set of books to Library. ST leader Chouhan presented Shree Quran Sharief to the Library. Many other participants also donated various books in the collection of the library on the occasion.
