Supergiant Games’ Hades is a 2020 RPG game. The game was available as early access since December for Switch, macOS, and PC. Later, in August 2021 developers released a version for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

The game is played out in an isometric perspective with the player as the controller of Zagreus. The player begins the running game by fighting through a variety of rooms. The rooms are selected from a predetermined pool of arrangements, but the sequence and the enemies that appear are determined randomly. The game features an action-based hack-and-slash strategy.

The player can use an attack primary and a second “special” attack that is based on their weapon of choice (out of six) or a magic “cast” which can be employed from a long distance or a dash that gives you instantaneous intangibility and mobility that can cause damage when used in conjunction with boon or attack or summoning attack that summons massive power from one the Gods.

Is Hades Crossplay?

Unfortunately, Hades doesn’t support crossplay or cross-platform play. This means you cannot enjoy the game with your friends if you guys are playing on different platforms.

According to developers, some technical issues prevent them from making Hades a crossplay game. So, we can assume that the game will never be crossplay in the future.

Unfortunately, Hades doesn’t support cross-progression either. This means if you change your primary device on which you play Hades all your progress will be lost and you have to play it from the beginning. Thus your progress in the previous version won’t transfer.
