IRCS organises Lucky Bag Draw-2023 at Kothibagh Girls Higher Secondary School

SRINAGAR, October 31: Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) J&K UT Branch Srinagar today orgainsed Lucky Bag Draw at Kothibagh Girls Higher Secondary School, Srinagar to announce the winners of this year to encourage youngsters to participate & contribute in the noble cause of humanitarian work.

The Ist winner of the draw shall be awarded Rs. 30k, 2nd winner Rs. 20k, 3rd winner Rs. 15k, 4th winner Rs. 10k and 5th winner Rs. 7k, besides, 20 consolidation winners by Rs. 3k each.

Deputy Director Information & PR Kashmir, Bilal Ahmad Dar was the special guest on the occasion. The Draw was held in presence of G A Qurashi, Honorary Treasure of IRCS, J&K; Principal GGHSS Kothibagh, Principal Tyndale Biscoe School, Secretary Burn Hall School, representatives of Presentation Convent HSS, Srinagar, Ting Tots Rainwari and Model School Rajbagh.

Deputy Director Information (PR) while speaking on the occasion appreciated youngsters and students who took part in the Lucky Draw to contribute for the human cause of helping needy patients and victims of various disasters.

He also encouraged students to engage themselves into the social services to build an empathetic society. He asked them to take part in cleanliness drives and other campaigns of the government for a better and prosperous future.

Other speakers highlighted the legacy of Red Cross in furthering the noble cause of caring and curing besides they threw light on the work done by IRCS, Kashmir in providing help to victims of fire, accidents and orgainsing blood donation camps time and again.

Students of different schools, faculty members and other guests attended the programme.
