Inter-Zone District-Level Kho Kho, Volleyball & Kabaddi competition for Under 14 & 17 Boys commences at B’la

BARAMULLA, AUGUST 22: Baramulla district is abuzz with excitement as the Department of Youth Services & Sports has kicked-off the much-awaited Inter-Zone District-Level Kho Kho, Volleyball, and Kabaddi competition for Under 14 & 17 Boys.

The prestigious event is scheduled to take place from August 22 to August 25 at the GDC Ground Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla.

This grand sporting spectacle brings together 18 zones from across the district, with nearly 1300 talented students poised to showcase their skills and sportsmanship during the course of the four-day event. The competition not only promotes healthy competition but also provides a platform for young athletes to display their prowess in Kho Kho, Volleyball, and Kabaddi.

The opening day of the event witnessed the spirited participation of under-14 boys in a thrilling Kho Kho trio competition. The enthusiasm and energy displayed by the young athletes left the spectators in awe, setting the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable sports extravaganza.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by the Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO), Ichpal Singh, who ceremoniously inaugurated the event. Joined by senior officials from the Department of Youth Services & Sports, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of such competitions in fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among the youth.
