IDPS Srinagar Launches Transformative 100-Day Crash Course “Toppers’ Race” At Zakura
Introduces New Academic Initiative To Prepare Students For NEET, JEE And Olympiads
Srinagar: In a positive step toward helping students in the Kashmir Valley, International Delhi Public School (IDPS) Srinagar, in collaboration with Unacademy Center Srinagar, officially launched the “Toppers’ Race” — an intensive 100-day crash course for students of Class 8th, 9th and 10th. The launch event took place at Zakura, Srinagar and drew an impressive gathering of educators, students and dignitaries.

The program is designed to combine board exam studies with early exposure to top competitive exams like NEET, JEE, NTSE, Olympiads and others. It aims to close the gap between regular classroom learning and success in competitive exams.
“This initiative is not just about exams — it’s about creating a mindset of ambition, discipline and vision,” said S.M.F Andrabi, Director Operations Kashmir & Ladakh IDPS Society New Delhi. “By partnering with Unacademy, we are extending our commitment to quality education beyond the traditional school model and preparing our students to compete at the national level with confidence and competence.”
Showkat Chowdhury, Chairman of IDPS Srinagar, expressed pride in the initiative, stating,“At IDPS Srinagar, we have always believed in going beyond textbooks to prepare students for the real world. The ‘Toppers’ Race’ program is a bold step in that direction — giving our students access to top-tier resources, expert guidanc and the confidence to dream big and achieve bigger.”
Lateef Masudi, Director of Unacademy Center Srinagar, also underscored the significance of the course. “In today’s fast-changing academic environment, students must be prepared not only to succeed in school but to thrive in a highly competitive national landscape,” he said.
The event was graced by several esteemed personalities including Principal Miss Sheema Manzoor, Vice Principal MissAnisa Mehraj, senior faculty members and prominent educationists, all of whom applauded the collaborative effort to elevate the region’s academic standards.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by PRO Miss Rehaana Showkat, who hosted the entire program with remarkable warmth and professionalism. She extended gratitude to the Unacademy team, school leadership, faculty, students and all guests present. “This collaboration marks a new dawn for our students and we are grateful to every individual who made this vision a reality,” she said.
With “Toppers’ Race,” IDPS Srinagar has started a new journey of learning, guidance, and growth — a journey that aims to build the future leaders from today itself.
